About the Bruins
The Bruins opened their season at home Saturday with a 3-1 win over the Rangers, a game in which new No. 1 goalie Tuukka Rask faced a mere 21 shots.
If the stats are to be believed, the Bruins bested the Rangers 10-1 in giveaways. In that case, the Jets will have to play a whole lot cleaner than they did Saturday if they plan to compete.
Boston was 6-7-2 in afternoon games in 2011-12, and was 2-2 vs. the Jets last season.
