"ï"ï ABOUT THE SENS

The Sens come into today's tilt approaching an NHL record for close games. Ottawa's 4-3 overtime win in Buffalo on Saturday was the team's 11th straight one-goal decision. The league record is 12, set by the 1997-98 Chicago Blackhawks.

Ottawa is now up to 34 points in 28 games in the Eastern Conference, fifth out of 15 teams.

Centre Kyle Turris is the Sens' leading scorer and he's coming off a big game Saturday in Buffalo. He had three points and one of his two goals was the overtime winner. Turris has 18 points in 28 games this season.

Since No. 1 goalie Craig Anderson went down Feb. 21, the Sens have missed few chances to get points, now 5-2-4 in the stretch.
