THE Jets also announced they have inked winger Anthony Peluso to a new two-year contract worth $1.125 million.
Claimed off waivers last January, the 24-year-old Peluso appeared in five games with the Jets (0G, 2A) before breaking his hand in a fight. The North York, Ont., product was originally drafted by the St. Louis Blues in the sixth round, 160th overall, in the 2007 NHL Draft.
