Do it again
The two teams played with an edge Tuesday night, and more fun is likely later in the week when the Jets and Leafs meet for the third time this season, this time in Toronto on Saturday on Hockey Night in Canada.
Margin for victory
For all the close games they've played this season, this was the first time the Jets have held a four-goal lead on an opponent. That made it quite a bit easier to make their mark 9-1-0 when leading after two periods. Another factor -- Winnipeg led after Tuesday's first period, only the second time this season the Jets have been ahead at home after 20 minutes. It sure seems to make a difference with the 15,004 faithful.
