Flyers 3- Jets 2

Free Press ★★★

★ Jakub Voracek, RW, Flyers: Set up two of Philly’s goals and was a threat just about every time he stepped on the ice. A quietly efficient game.

★★ Andrew Ladd, LW, Jets: Two goals for the Jets captain, who now has six this season. Both as a result of solid passes — the first from Blake Wheeler, the second from Evander Kane — and his quick hands.

★★★ Ilya Bryzgalov, G, Flyers: Jet fans serenaded him all night, but he was steady in kicking out 24 of 16 shots.

 DRY D:

The Jets entered the game with the most points in the NHL from their defensive corps, but their six-man crew was held off the scoresheet Tuesday.

UP NEXT:

The Jets play host to the Pittsburgh Penguins Friday night, 6 p.m., CBC/TSN 1290
