The Avs come into tonight's game without a win in their last three starts, 0-2-1. They were blitzed 7-2 Friday night in Chicago and are 1-2-2 in their last five. Since a 12-1 start, Colorado is 11-10-3.

Colorado, however, has 49 points (23-11-3), 10 more than the Jets and good for third spot in the difficult Central Division.

In their recent defeats in Chicago, San Jose and Los Angeles, Colorado gave up 37, 45 and 39 shots.

C Matt Duchene's five-game points streak (two goals, eight assists) came to an end Friday with a minus-three outing. But he is still the team's clear scoring leader with 16 goals and 34 points this season, at plus-six.

The team's power-play streak of four games (which followed a drought of 11 games) ended Friday in Chicago.
