WINNIPEG - The Manitoba Junior Hockey League will hold its eighth Old Dutch Showcase weekend tournament on Thursday through Saturday at the MTS Iceplex.

MJHL commissioner Kim Davis said the event is one-stop shopping for scouts evaluating talent and a unique opportunity for fans to see all 11 teams in one location.

"This event is well attended by university scouts throughout Canada and the United States," Davis said in a news release.

"The feedback we receive after this event is very positive. I know the scouts like to see the event in one venue, while fans have the opportunity to watch all 11 MJHL teams during a single weekend. It’s really a hockey fan’s ultimate dream. The players in our league enjoy this event, which provides them an excellent opportunity to showcase their talents."
