  • Print

The Selkirk Keystone Source for Sports-Reebok player of the week in the Manitoba Female (AAA) Midget Hockey League is Courtlyn Oswald of MacGregor, a forward for the Central Plains Capitals.

Oswald, a first-year player, scored a goal and an assist for the Capitals in a 2-1 win over the Yellowhead Chiefs last week. In the past 10 league games, Oswald has recorded 20 points.

Meanwhile, Pembina Valley Hawks goaltender Zac Robidoux, 16, and forward Christian Stockl, 16, of the Winnipeg Wild are the Manitoba AAA Midget Hockey League players of the week.

Robidoux was picked as the Chicken Chef West division player after he recorded two wins last week, including a shutout, stopping 42 of 45 shots he faced.

Stockl was chosen as the DEKALB East division player having scored 10 points (seven goals and three assists) in three wins for the Wild.
