Pembina Valley Hawks' Hutchinson named player of the week

Madison Hutchinson of Manitou, a defenceman with the Pembina Valley Hawks has been named the Selkirk Keystone Source for Sports-Reebok player of the week in the Manitoba Female Midget (AAA) Hockey League.
The Hawks’ captain recorded six assists and a plus-4 rating in two wins and a tie last week to help the Pembina Valley team, first in the league’s West division, improve to a 14-1-1 (wins-losses-ties) league record.
She is one of just two defencemen in the league’s top-10 scoring with 44 points in 39 games.
Hutchinson was also a defensive leader as the Hawks allowed just three goals in three games last week.
