Bell with four points as the Rockets crush the Royals
VICTORIA - Myles Bell had two goals and two assists as the Kelowna Rockets downed the host Victoria Royals 8-3 on Friday in Western Hockey League play.
Madison Bowey, Cody Fowlie and Dylen McKinlay had a goal and an assist apiece for the Rockets (43-15-4), who won for the first time in three outings.
JT Barnett, Tyson Baillie and Ryan Olsen also scored to round out Kelowna's offence.
Ben Walker, Jamie Crooks and Austin Carroll each had a goal and an assist for the Royals (32-23-5), who are winless in five games.
Jordon Cooke made 22 saves for the win as Patrik Polivka took the loss after allowing six goals on 23 shots in 40 minutes of action. Coleman Vollrath replaced Polivka to start the third period and stopped 9-of-11 shots in relief.
Kelowna went 3 for 7 on the power play while Victoria scored once on four chances with the man advantage.
The two clubs combined for 174 minutes in penalties, including 12 misconducts and four fighting majors.
