Brenden Kichton scores two goals to lead Chiefs over Silvertips 4-1

EVERETT, Wash. - Brenden Kichton scored two goals to lead the Spokane Chiefs over the Everett Silvertips 4-1 on Wednesday night in WHL action.

Carter Proft and Todd Fiddler also scored for Spokane (37-24-2), which won its third straight. Garret Hughson played a strong game in goal for the Chiefs, making 25 saves.

Ryan Harrison scored the lone goal for Everett (22-36-5). Austin Lotz made 25 saves in net for the Silvertips.

Kichton's first goal broke a 1-1 tie with Spokane on the power play late in the first period. Everett appeared to get a period-ending clear, however, Blake Gal corralled a rebound and fed Kichton with 0.5 second remaining in the period, giving Spokane the lead for good.
