Brenden Walker scores 2 as Saskatoon beats Moose Jaw 5-1 for 13 straight win
SASKATOON - Brenden Walker scored twice as the Saskatoon Blades stomped the Moose Jaw Warriors 5-1 for their 13th straight Western Hockey League victory Wednesday.
Erik Benoit, Matej Stransky and Josh Nicholls also scored for the surging Blades (36-21-3).
Tanner Eberle opened the scoring at 17:51 in the first period, but that proved to be the first and last goal for Moose Jaw (20-31-9).
Andrey Makarov made 35 saves for Saskatoon, while at the other end of the ice Justin Paulic stopped 30 shots.
