Ceci with four points as the Attack beat the Steelheads
OWEN SOUND, Ont. - Defenceman Cody Ceci had two goals and two assists as the Owen Sound Attack beat the visiting Mississauga Steelheads 6-1 on Saturday in Ontario Hockey League play.
Artur Gavrus scored twice and set up one more for the Attack (39-18-5), who won for the first time in three outings, while Daniel Milne added a goal and an assist.
Gemel Smith scored once to round out Owen Sound's offence.
Lucas Venuto scored the lone goal for the Steelheads (25-31-5), who are winless in four games.
Jordan Binnington made 28 saves for the win as Spencer Martin allowed all six goals on 38 shots before getting pulled early in the third period. Tyson Teichmann replaced Martin and stopped four shots in 17 minutes of relief.
Owen Sound went 3 for 7 on the power play while Mississauga failed to score on four chances with the man advantage.
