Cooke stops 29 shots as Rockets win sixth in a row
KELOWNA, B.C. - Jordon Cooke made 29 saves and Tyson Baillie and Myles Bell each had a goal and an assist as the Kelowna Rockets downed the Vancouver Giants 5-2 on Saturday in Western Hockey League action.
Justin Kirkland, Zach Franko and Jesse Lees also scored for the Rockets (52-16-4), who extended their win streak to six games and head into the post season as the second seed in the Western Conference.
Dalton Sward and Jakob Stukel scored for the Giants (21-49-2), who finish the season as the WHL's last-place club.
Jared Rathjen turned away 31-of-35 shots in defeat.
Kelowna went 0 for 6 on the power play while Vancouver failed to score on three chances with the man advantage.
