Gordon scores winner as Broncos edge Pats

REGINA - Coda Gordon scored the shootout winner as the Swift Current Broncos edged the host Regina Pats 3-2 on Friday in Western Hockey League action.

Adam Lowry and Richard Nedomlel scored in regulation for the Broncos (35-29-7), who erased an early 2-0 deficit for their third win in a row.

Marc McCoy and Lane Scheidl scored for the Pats (25-37-9), who are winless in three outings.

Eetu Laurikainen stopped 18 shots for the win as Matt Hewitt made 30 saves in defeat.

Swift Current went 0 for 4 on the power play while Regina scored twice on two chances with the man advantage.
