Goulbourne scores four times as the Rockets crush the Hurricanes
KELOWNA, B.C. - Tyrell Goulbourne scored four goals as the Kelowna Rockets crushed the visiting Lethbridge Hurricanes 7-1 on Saturday in Western Hockey League play.
Dylen McKinlay, Ryan Olsen and Myles Bell also scored for the Rockets (46-15-4), who extended their win streak to four games, and Cody Fowlie chipped in with three assists.
Jamal Watson scored the lone goal for the Hurricanes (26-29-10), who sit six points behind the Kootenay Ice for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.
Jackson Whistle made 25 saves for the win as Ty Rimmer picked up the loss after allowing four goals on 17 shots in 25 minutes of action. Christopher Tai replaced Rimmer and turned away 21-of-24 shots in relief.
Kelowna went 1 for 6 on the power play while Lethbridge failed to score on three chances with the man advantage.
