Justin Nichols, Greyhounds blank Petes 4-0, first shutout of Nichols' OHL career
SAULT STE. MARIE, Ont. - Goaltender Justin Nichols stopped all 29 shots he faced on Sunday as the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhouynds blanked the Peterborough Petes 4-0 in Ontario Hockey League action.
The Greyhounds rebounded after losing two straight on home ice behind Nichols first OHL shutout.
Colin Miller, Jared McCann, Trent Mallette and Sergey Tolchinsky scored for the Greyhounds (34-22-6).
Goaltender Andrew D'Agostini stopped 23 shots for Peterborough (22-34-7).
The Greyhounds went 0 for 1 on the power play while the Petes were 0 for 3.
