Kale Kessy has two goals and two assists as Blazers blank Royals 6-0

KAMLOOPS, B.C. - Kale Kessy had two goals and two assists Tuesday night, leading the Kamloops Blazers to a 6-0 WHL victory over the Victoria Royals.

JC Lipon, Colin Smith, Sam Grist and Tim Bozon also scored for the Blazers (45-18-5).

Kamloops goaltender Cole Cheveldave stopped 14 shots in posting his sixth shutout of the season and his second in a row. He blanked the visiting Kelowna Rockets 3-0 on Sunday night.

Goaltender Patrik Polivka stopped 17 of 22 shots over two periods for the Royals (32-27-6) before giving way to Coleman Vollrath. He turned aside 10 shots.

The Royals now have lost 10 in a row.
