Saskatoon Blades score 5 straight goals to beat Brandon for 12 straight win

SASKATOON - The Saskatoon Blades scored five unanswered goals to win their 12th straight game, 5-1 over the Brandon Wheat Kings in Western Hockey League on Monday.

Darren Dietz, Lukas Sutter, Josh Nicholls, Matej Stransky and Shane McColgan each scored for Saskatoon (35-21-3).

Jason Swyripa opened the game's scoring in the first period with Brandon's (21-35-5) first and last goal.

Blades goaltender Andrey Makarov made 19 saves. Curtis Honey had a far busier night in the Wheat Kings' net, where he was forced to stop 40 shots
