WINNIPEG - The wheel is finally turning for the Manitoba Moose, who today finally took a positive step in roster matters.

The Moose are expecting two players, forwards Guillaume Desbiens and Alexandre Bolduc, to return from the injured list in time for Tuesday night’s game at the MTS Centre against the first-place Rochester Americans.

And a third, defenceman Aaron Rome of Nesbitt, Man., will be added to the lineup Tuesday. He’s been sent to the Moose for a conditioning stint, which can last a maximum of 14 days.

Rome, who has played just 10 games this season for Vancouver, could see lots of action. The Moose play five games in six days this week.

Bolduc has been with the Canucks since Oct. 17, appearing in seven games before being injured. He’s been skating in Vancouver, is cleared to play and has been assigned back to the Moose.

He played four games here before his recall.

Desbiens has been out since breaking his foot Oct. 30. He has missed 12 games but skated on a regular line at this morning’s practice.

Manitoba has endured one of its worst-ever stretches of lineup stress and managed a record of 13-9-4 so far. The team has had as many as nine players at one time either recalled, injured or both during much the first two months of the season.

Now, only seven remain on that list, and forward Pierre-Cedric Labrie may also be close to returning.

He isn’t likely to play Tuesday, but skated Monday in practice with a red jersey. He has missed 10 games with a shoulder problem.
