 Bring the bling

St. Andrews product Darren Helm rolled into Winnipeg for the first time since picking up the Stanley Cup ring he won with the Detroit Red Wings last spring and was sporting it prior to Friday morning’s pre-game skate.

 Old-time hockey

Norfolk Admirals coach Darren Rumble put his club through a post-game skate this week after they fell 7-3 to the Wilkes-Barre/ Scranton Penguins. After the fans left the building, he brought his players back onto the ice in full uniform for a 20-minute conditioning skate. "Our line starts, coach?"

 In and out

Moose captain Mike Keane was a healthy scratch and forwards Greg Rallo, Oliver Labelle, and Raymond Sawada were all held out due to injury. Defenceman Travis Ramsey was a healthy scratch, and blue-liners Mark Fistric and Zach Fitzgerald are banged up and listed as day-to-day.
