Blue Jackets activate D John Moore, reassign D Cody Goloubef, call up F Sean Collins from AHL

COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Columbus Blue Jackets have activated defenceman John Moore off injured reserve after he missed eight games with a shoulder injury, called up forward Sean Collins from their American Hockey League affiliate in Springfield, Mass., and have assigned defenceman Cody Goloubef to the AHL Falcons.

Moore has two goals and six assists in 82 career games with the Blue Jackets. The former first-rounder, 21st overall in the 2009 draft, has one assist in 13 games this season.

Goloubef has appeared in 10 games with Columbus this season, scoring his first and only NHL goal on Feb. 11 vs. San Jose. The Blue Jackets' second pick, 37th overall, in the 2009 draft, Goloubef has five goals and seven assists in 25 AHL games this season.

Collins was added to the team on emergency recall from Springfield.

The Cornell graduate logged 25:06 of ice time and blocked three shots in two games with Columbus earlier this season. The 6-foot-3, 201-pound centre, a seventh-round pick in 2008, has seven goals and 13 assists in 53 games with the Falcons this season — his first as a professional.
