Wrist injury ends Souray's season

Anaheim Ducks blue-liner Sheldon Souray will miss the entire season after another operation on his right wrist. Souray had surgery Friday to relieve arthritis symptoms related to a torn ligament. The 37-year-old Souray was injured during summer training and he never got on the ice.

Hanzal fined for stick foul

Phoenix Coyotes forward Martin Hanzal has been fined $5,000 for high-sticking Vancouver Canucks forward David Booth. The NHL announced the fine on Friday. The high-sticking double-minor penalty occurred at 15:55 of the third period in the Coyotes' 1-0 win over the Canucks Thursday.
