Captain America

Zach Parise of the Minnesota Wild will be the captain of the U.S. men's hockey team at the Sochi Olympics.

Minnesota defenceman Ryan Suter and centre Dustin Brown of the Los Angeles Kings will be the alternate captains, U.S. general manager David Poile announced Friday.

Weber scores in return for Preds

Predators blue-liner Shea Weber returned from an upper body injury to score twice, including the OT winner, in Nashville's 3-2 win over New Jersey Friday night.
