Krys Barch has never been one to mince words, sometimes to a fault. But that hasn't stopped the veteran NHL tough guy, now with the New Jersey Devils, from speaking out. Over the weekend he had the hockey world buzzing after he spoke out via his Twitter account.

Here are some chunks from Barch:

"My name is Krys Barch. I have played approx 5 1/2 years in the NHL and have worked for every second of it. I haven't been a 1st-round pick, bonus baby or a son of a Hall of Famer. I have made it through sweating, bleeding, cut Achilles, broken hands, concussions, broken orbital bones, 8 teeth knocked out, etc., etc., etc."

"I sit in front of a fire, 8 OV deep and starting a bottle of Port that will assist in the translations of my emotions to words! No different than a truck driver, farmer or line worker. SUNDAY NIGHT IN THE KHL

Dinamo Minsk -- the club that Evander Kane will join on Monday and which also features former Jet Tim Stapleton -- knocked off Atlant Moscow 3-2 Sunday night.

Tweeted Stapleton, who leads the team with nine points in 11 games, after the victory: 'BIG win tonight by HC DINAMO MINSK. Great fans and support. Glad to have Pekka Rinne on our side and excited for @EKane9JETS to join us tom.'

Alexei Ponikarovsky's Donbass Donestk team fell 1-0 in a shootout to Spartak Moscow. Ponikarovsky has one goal in four games.
