Shocking development in desert

GLENDALE, Ariz. -- Greg Jamison was unable to meet a Thursday night deadline with the City of Glendale to buy the Phoenix Coyotes. His bid to buy the team from the NHL may not be over, though.

"We remain hopeful the Coyotes sale process will be resolved successfully...," NHL Deputy Commissioner Bill Daly said in a statement on Friday.

Price, Subban deep-six low-fives

BROSSARD, Que. -- Carey Price and P.K. Subban will no longer celebrate a Montreal Canadiens' victory with their signature "triple low-fives" move this season. Price said Friday the act has been banned in favour of a team celebration.

"There's going to be no low-fives this year," said Price. "There's only a team celebration at the end of the game."

Asked if he was OK with that, Price said yes.
