NEW YORK -- Tampa Bay star centre Steven Stamkos is the NHL's first star of the week after helping the Lightning win three straight games and move to the top of the Atlantic Division. Stamkos had three goals and four assists in the games and now ranks second in the NHL with 17 points (eight goals, nine assists) in 11 games.

Toronto winger Phil Kessel was named the second star with five goals on 10 shots in the Maple Leafs' three games. Vancouver centre Ryan Kesler was named third star with four goals and two assists as the Canucks closed a season-long seven-game road trip with three consecutive wins.
