Winnipeg Free Press - ONLINE EDITION

Downtown Vancouver on an otherwise normal Sunday.

Well, that was the craziest thing I’ve seen in a while. I’ve been here in Vancouver for a couple of weeks and been out on the town after every Canadian hockey victory, but today was different.

It was the wildest thing I’ve been a part of in a while. People standing on tables spraying champange eveywhere. Dance parties all over the place. More hugging than a UFC fight. High–fiving until your hand turned red. People confidently thanking Americans for coming out but asking nicely that they now leave. Today was a great day.

I think, no, I know, it’ll be one of those "Remember where you were?" days. Sidney in overtime. Best day ever. I will now head back to the party, which I assume will last until roughly 7:30am your time.
