KRASNAYA POLYANA, Russia - Canada finished last in the women's cross-country skiing 4x5-kilometre relay event Saturday at the Sochi Games.
The team of Perianne Jones of Almonte, Ont., Daria Gaiazova of Banff, Alta., Emily Nishkawa of Whitehorse and Brittany Webster of Caledon, Ont., finished last among 14 squads with a time of 59 minutes 13.6 seconds.
The Canadians were 6:10.9 behind the gold medal-winning team from Sweden.
Finland captured the silver medal while Germany took the bronze.
