Glance: A look at the assets of Oscar Pistorius as laid out in his court affidavit

PRETORIA, South Africa - A look at the assets of Oscar Pistorius, laid out in an affidavit by the athlete and presented to court after he was charged with premediated murder in the Feb. 14 shooting death of his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp. Pistorius was granted 1 million rand ($113,000) bail and freed from custody pending a trial on Friday.

PROPERTY

Pistorius says he owns three houses and a vacant plot in South Africa worth a total of approximately 8.3 million rand ($936,000). He stated that the house he lives in and where the fatal shooting of Steenkamp took place is worth approximately 5 million rand ($563,000). Pistorius listed that house, in a gated community in the eastern suburbs of the South African capital, Pretoria, as his main residence. The athlete also said that he had two other properties located within another Pretoria estate and with a combined value of $180,000. He also owns a vacant plot in the Western Cape province, near Cape Town, worth around $190,000, he said.

MOVABLE ASSETS

Pistorius says his "movable" assets include household furniture and effects, cars and jewelry and are worth in excess of $56,000.

EARNINGS

Pistorius says he has an annual income of approximately 5.6 million rand, or $631,000. He did not give further details in his affidavit of where exactly the earnings came from.

CASH

Pistorius says he has "cash investments" in excess of 1 million rand, or $112,000, with various banks in South Africa.
