1Roughly 22 million Canadians tuned in to watch Sidney Crosby and Team Canada face off against the United States to win the Olympic gold medal in men's hockey. Having lost to the U.S. in the qualifying rounds, the pressure was on Canada to capture the gold on the final day of the Games in Vancouver.
Despite trailing Canada 2-1, Team USA tied the score seconds before the clock ran out, throwing the game into sudden-death overtime.
But Crosby thrilled the nation with the winning goal on Ryan Miller, and Canadians from coast to coast felt the rush of victory.
