Jonathan Toews picked up his fifth assist of the Olympic men's hockey tournament and was plus-3 in Canada's 8-2 victory over Germany. Duncan Keith had two assists and was also plus-3.

Winnipeg-born Danielle Poleschuk crashed in the quarterfinals of the ski cross and finished 19th.

John Morris, Kevin Martin and our Team Canada curling foursome completed the round-robin with a perfect record courtesy a 10-3 victory over China.

Big game for Jonathan Toews, Duncan Keith and the rest of our Olympic men's hockey squad as they face Germany in a qualification game at 6:30. Winner advances to face Russia on Wednesday.

Carolyn Darbyshire of Arborg/Portage and the rest of Team Canada's curling squad improved to 7-1 with a 6-5 extra-end win over Great Britain and were facing Russia on the late draw.

Megan Imrie of Falcon Lake, in her final Olympic event, helped Canada's women's 4x6 km relay team to a 15th place finish with a time of 1:14:25.5
