England bowler Stuart Broad to undergo knee surgery next month

LONDON - England pace bowler Stuart Broad is to undergo surgery on his right knee.

The England and Wales Cricket Board announced on Wednesday that the procedure is due to take place on Sept. 4

The ECB says a "rehabilitation and recovery program will be determined following the operation."

Broad played with a broken nose as England completed a 3-1 test series win against India on Sunday.
