England wins toss, sends India in to bat in 2nd test

LONDON - England captain Alastair Cook has won the toss and chosen to bowl on a grassy wicket against India in the second test at Lord's.

Both teams are unchanged from the drawn first test at Trent Bridge, meaning England spinner Simon Kerrigan is not playing despite being added to the squad for the second test.

All rounder Stuart Binny keeps his place in India's side. Despite his wicketless debut at Trent Bridge, he made 78 with the bat in the second innings.

ENGLAND: Alastair Cook, Sam Robson, Gary Ballance, Ian Bell, Joe Root, Moeen Ali, Matt Prior, Ben Stokes, Stuart Broad, Liam Plunkett, James Anderson.

INDIA: Shikhar Dhawan, Murali Vijay, Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli, Ajinkya Rahane, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Ravindra Jadeja, Stuart Binny, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Ishant Sharma, Mohammed Shami.
