France winger Hugo Bonneval to make debut as one of 3 changes for Italy match in Six Nations

  • Print

PARIS - Stade Francais winger Hugo Bonneval will make his debut for France on the left wing against Italy in the Six Nations on Sunday.

Bonneval, in for the dropped Maxime Medard, will start in the same position as his father, Eric Bonneval, who played 18 times for France from 1984-88, including the first World Cup.

Hugo Bonneval's inclusion was among three changes from the team that beat England 26-24 at Stade de France on Saturday.

Dimitri Szarzewski, who helped create France's dramatic late try for Gael Fickou, starts at hooker instead of Benjamin Kayser, and Yoann Maestri comes in for Alexandre Flanquart at lock.

Flyhalf Francois Trinh-Duc is back and takes a place on the bench.
