ABOUT THE DEVILS
SLUMP CITY: The Devils had lost six straight before getting a win over the Buffalo Sabres on Thursday night. New Jersey lost in Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final last spring and is 11-8-5 resting in seventh spot in the Eastern Conference.
NO MARTY: Legendary Devils goalie Martin Brodeur has missed seven starts with a back injury and former Moose goalie Johan Hedberg has been in the net posting a 1-6 record.
PATRIK'S POINTS: The Devils are led by Patrik Elias with seven goals and 17 assists. David Clarkson leads the team with 10 goals. New Jersey has a pair of Manitobans in the lineup in Bryce Salvador and Travis Zajac.
