Qi Guangpu of China wins men's title at freestyle worlds, Xu Mengtao takes women's gold

VOSS, Norway - World Cup champion Qi Guangpu of China won the men's aerials gold medal at the freestyle skiing world championships on Thursday, and teammate Xu Mengtao took the women's title.

The 22-year-old Qi scored 138.0 points. Travis Gerrits of Canada won silver and Zongyang Jia of China took third.

In the women's event, Xu was followed by Veronika Kursunova of Russia and Danielle Scott of Australia.
