Ran washes out 1st of 2 Twenty20 matches between Pakistan-South Africa

DURBAN, South Africa - Rain has washed out the first of two Twenty20 internationals between South Africa and Pakistan.

Umpires Shaun George and Adrian Holdstock called off the match at 1830 local time (1630 GMT) on Friday after rain kept pouring at the Kingsmead ground.

The second match will be played at Centurion on Sunday before the five-match ODI series starts on March 10.

South Africa whitewashed Pakistan 3-0 in the test series.
