RG3 improving, could start for Redskins on Sunday

ASHBURN, Va. -- Robert Griffin III looks good to go.
The Washington Redskins rookie had a full practice Thursday for the second straight day as the team prepares for this week's game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
"I like what I see," coach Mike Shanahan said. "If there is no setback, he should be ready to go."
Griffin missed Sunday's win over the Cleveland Browns with a sprained right knee. On Wednesday, he had his first full practice since the injury, and coaches and doctors were eager to see how the knee would respond.
"There wasn't a setback today, so that's a good sign," Shanahan said.
Tiger-Cats hire Condell
HAMILTON -- Tommy Condell is following Kent Austin to the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
Austin hired Condell as Hamilton's offensive co-ordinator and receivers coach Thursday. The move comes three days after Austin was named the Ticats' head coach, GM and vice- president of football operations.
Condell joins the Ticats after serving as Austin's assistant head coach and wide receivers coach for three seasons at Cornell. Condell has previous CFL coaching experience with the Saskatchewan Roughriders (offensive co-ordinator, 2006), Ottawa Renegades (quarterbacks, receivers coach, pass game co-ordinator, 2004-'05) and Winnipeg Blue Bombers (special-teams co-ordinator, 1997).
"Tommy is intelligent, creative and has an extremely strong work ethic," Austin said in a statement. "He is an outstanding fundamental teacher, but even more importantly he is an outstanding individual who relates well to his players."
Eagle Keys dead at 89
VANCOUVER -- Eagle Keys, a Canadian Football Hall of Fame inductee who played in the 1954 Grey Cup on a broken leg, has died at the age of 89.
Keys won two Grey Cups as a player, with Montreal and Edmonton, and also coached the Saskatchewan Roughriders to their first CFL title in 1966.
"Eagle Keys is a legend in the CFL and will always hold a special place in the hearts of Rider fans," said Riders president and CEO Jim Hopson in a release Thursday.
"While he will always be thought of as one of the greatest coaches in CFL history, more importantly he was a tremendous person. Eagle was kind enough to join the Riders in 2006 as the team celebrated the 40th anniversary of our first Grey Cup championship."
