About the Bruins

-The Bruins tied the best 11-game start in club history by grabbing 18 of a possible 22 points but gave up three goals in the third period in Buffalo Friday night to fall 4-2. Anton Khudobin started in goal for the Bruins, meaning Tuukka Rask could face the Jets.

-Boston is here for the second game of its longest road trip of the season, a five-game trek that will next see stops in Tampa, Florida and Long Island.

-Dougie Hamilton scored for the Bruins in the loss to the Sabres, becoming the first 19-year-old Boston defenceman to score since Jonathan Girard in 1999.

-The Bruins edged the Jets 2-1 in a shootout at TD Garden back on Jan. 21, and were 0-2 in Winnipeg last year.
