2 West Ham fans arrested on suspicion of alleged racially aggravated offences during match

LONDON - Two West Ham fans have been arrested on suspicion of alleged racially aggravated public-order offences during the team's Premier League match at Chelsea.

The Metropolitan Police said Monday that the men have been released on bail to return this month.

Police have also launched a separate investigation after coins were thrown toward Frank Lampard as the England midfielder celebrated with non-playing substitute John Terry after scoring Chelsea's opening goal in a 2-0 win at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

The Football Association and the two London clubs are liaising with police over the incident.
