Aston Villa beats Norwich 1-0 to snap 3-match losing streak in Premier League
NORWICH, England - Aston Villa ended a three-game losing streak in the Premier League with a 1-0 win against Norwich on Saturday.
Czech Republic forward Libor Kozak grabbed his first goal for the Midlands club in the 30th minute at Carrow Road, watched by Villa boss Paul Lambert who took Norwich to the Premier League.
Kozak, who came on for the injured Christian Benteke, scored with a close-range shot set up by Gabriel Agbonlahor.
Earlier, Robert Snodgrass failed to convert a penalty in the sixth for Norwich after Ciaran Clark handled the ball. Villa goalkeeper Brad Guzan saved Snodgrass's spot kick in the bottom right corner.
