Barcelona midfielder Xavi Hernandez to miss Madrid game with injury, in doubt for AC Milan

BARCELONA, Spain - Barcelona says midfielder Xavi Hernandez has a right thigh injury that will rule him of Saturday's game at Real Madrid and put him in doubt for the match at AC Milan.

The club says the Spain international will be sidelined for 10 to 15 days.

Barcelona visits Milan on March 12 needing to overcome a 2-0 deficit in the second leg of their Champions League last-16 match.

Barcelona lost 3-1 to Madrid and was eliminated from the Copa del Rey on Tuesday. The team visits the Santiago Bernabeu with a 12-point lead in the Spanish league.
