  • Print

BRISBANE, Australia - Albania striker Besart Berisha scored a 90th-minute winner as Brisbane beat Central Coast 2-1 Sunday in a clash of champions in Australian football's A-League.

Brisbane, league winners in 2011 and 2012, came from behind to claim a 12th win in 17 matches and to move seven points clear of the Western Sydney Wanderers at the top of the table.

Defending champions Central Coast took the lead when Mile Sterjovski converted a 36th-minute penalty but Brisbane equalized through Henrique in the 66th and claimed the win with Berisha's goal in the last minute of normal time.

Both Brisbane goals were set up by midfielder Thomas Broich.
