Cardiff signs promising Manchester United winger Wilfried Zaha on loan

  • Print

CARDIFF, Wales - Manchester United highly rated winger Wilfried Zaha has completed his loan move to Cardiff on the final day of the January transfer window.

The 21-year-old Zaha helped Crystal Palace secure promotion through the English playoffs last year but was relegated to the bench with the Red Devils this season.

Zaha is Cardiff's sixth January signing after manager Ole Gunnar Solksjaer reinforced his struggling squad with the addition of Fabio, Kenwyne Jones, Magnus Wolff Eikrem, Mats Moller Daehli and Jo Inge Berget since succeeding Malky Mackay.

Cardiff is in last place in the Premier League, and Solksjaer is hopeful Zaha's skills will be decisive in the relegation fight. He says Zaha "will bring that little final bit to find pockets of space and produce a bit of magic."
