Hull beat Brighton in FA Cup replay to set up quarterfinal against Sunderland

LONDON - Hull will play English Premier League rival Sunderland in the quarterfinals of the FA Cup after beating Brighton 2-1 on Monday.

Curtis Davies and Robert Koren secured the victory with goals inside 35 minutes of the fifth-round replay against the second-tier side.

Leonardo Ulloa pulled one back for Brighton midway through the second half but couldn't force the game into extra time.

Completing the quarterfinal draw, Charlton also beat Sheffield Wednesday 2-1 to set up a meeting with Sheffield United.

In the last eight, Manchester City hosts holder Wigan, and Arsenal plays Everton.
