FRISCO, Texas - Kenny Cooper scored in the 90th minute to lead FC Dallas to a 3-2 win over the Houston Dynamo on Sunday afternoon.

Cooper scored on a breakaway after he tapped a shot into the right corner of the net from the top of the goalie's box after Dallas squandered a two-goal advantage in the game's final 15 minutes.

In the 83rd minute, Brad Davis raced past two Dallas defenders and fired a left-footed shot from inside 10 yards and into the left corner of the net to tie it. Less than four minutes earlier Andrew Driver gave the Dynamo their first goal in the 79th minute with a left-footed shot that hit the top of the crossbar and bounced into the back of the net.

FC Dallas scored twice within a two-minute span to take a 2-0 first half lead, equaling the number of goals the club had scored through its first two games. In the 34th minute George John angled a header into the right corner of the net and in the 36th minute Andrew Jacobson redirected a corner kick from David Ferreira into the left corner of the net.

CARSON, Calif. (AP) — The Los Angeles Galaxy and Chivas USA traded late goals following a disputed red card, and the first meeting this season between the SuperClasico rivals finished 1-1 at the Home Depot Center.

Jack McBean's header in the 83rd minute gave the dominant Galaxy (1-0-1) the advantage, but rookie Carlos Alvarez, making his MLS debut, tapped home a low cross from Carlos Borja in the 89th minute to pull Chivas (1-1-1) even.

Chivas played the final 50 minutes down a man after defender Joaquin Velazquez was ejected for tripping over Galaxy winger Colin Clark.
