Udinese signes 18-year-old Czech offensive midfielder Jakub Jankto from Slavia Prague

PRAGUE - Udinese has signed teenage midfielder Jakub Jankto from Czech side Slavia Prague.

Sport Invest Group, a company that represents Jankto, said Wednesday that he had signed a five-year-contract. Financial details were not given.

The 18-year-old has played for the Czech Republic under-18 team and scored four goals in a 5-0 victory over Montenegro in a friendly match in June.

Jankto has not yet played a single game for Slavia in the top Czech league.
