VANCOUVER - Bob Lenarduzzi, Carl Valentine, Domenic Mobilio and Andrea Neil are the first four inductees into the Vancouver Whitecaps' Ring of Honour.

The ring is being established as the team celebrates it's 40th anniversary.

Lenarduzzi will be the first inducted during the next home match May 3, as he joins the rest of his teammates from the inaugural 1974 Whitecaps team.

Neil will be inducted August 10 at BC Place, 10 years after she captained Whitecaps FC to their first United Soccer Leagues W-League championship on August 8, 2004.

Valentine will be honoured Sept. 10 to mark the Sept. 9, 1979, championship parade in Vancouver when he and the team celebrated their Soccer Bowl win.

Finally, members of the Mobilio family will be at B.C. Place on Oct. 4 for the induction of the late striker and MVP who set a league scoring record and led the Vancouver 86ers to their fourth consecutive Canadian Soccer League title Oct. 6, 1991.
