Tika / Siamese cross / 1
We found Tika in October 2007 wandering around at our local grocery store's parking lot. We brought her home under the assumption that someone would claim her, as she is such a beautiful cat. After eating two bowls of food and drinking one bowl of water, she curled up in our spare bedroom on the bed and immediately went to sleep. We already had two cats at home, and our youngest cat, Magic, was not a happy camper at having to share her home.
A week later, we had to put down our oldest cat, Torie, who was 15. My husband and I were very upset to lose Torie, and as no one had claimed our recently found stray, we decided that she was too precious to give away.
Magic is still not happy with her new sister, as Tika loves to torment her, but they each have enough space to keep the quarrels to a minimum. Tika is a very affectionate cat. Her daily routine consists of shredding any paper she can get her paws on, ambushing her sister, and constantly making us laugh with her antics. We are so happy that she is part of our lives, and that she found us.

Abbi / Labrador / 1, and Sadie / Labrador / 3 months
Abbi is our kind, loving, chocolate Labrador. We adopted a little sister for her named Sadie, a yellow Labrador, who is now our silly baby. Although they haven't been together long, they love each other and are inseparable.

Java / seal point Siamese / 10, and Bonnie / tabby / 8
We adopted Bonnie in 2003 from the Winnipeg Humane Society as a companion for Java when our older Siamese passed away that same year. We knew they loved each other, but who thought that cats could actually "spoon" when they slept with each other?
